Fallout: New Vegas GOTY listed

Online retailer Amazon, a professional bean spiller, has listed Fallout: New Vegas. This is the much coveted Game of the Year Edition though and it's for all.

This would mean all the updates so far and all available DLC for it would be bundled together. New Vegas is believed to be receiving 4 bits of DLC.

Dead Money was the first released additional content for the large sprawling RPG from Bethesda and Obsidian Entertainment. The second lot is rumoured to be called Honest Hearts with a third and likely final fourth piece due after that.

The GOTY edition would include all otherwise it wouldn't be very GOTY-like. Amazon pegs the New Vegas compilation of 1s and 0s for about £20 if you preorder right now. There are no details accompanying the list just yet. Check out our review of New Vegas.

For what's it's worth, I really enjoyed NV despite all it's weird bugs and after a few patches it wasn't even that buggy.

But who declared that New Vegas was the game of the year? :)

I'm glad I didn't buy New Vegas. For one, the GOTY edition should have ALL of the bugs fixed, no?

After "Fallout 3" I couldn't face another one, despite the changes made. Too long, too bland, too buggy. Without Mods, these games are pretty dry.

Don't hold your breath Jonah - NV is still buggy - but if you haven't played it - you may like it. I found NV to be what Fallout 3 should have been, but too late. The engine is tired and the gameplay isn't actually that fun. For a FPS styled RPG - it doesn't really well - make you want to play it after you beat it. It is not at all like Oblivion (except that the modders made the games playable ;) ) where you want to run around exploring and finishing quests.
I really miss the isometric Fallout... :(
