Tripwire has announced that Dwarfs!? has been release on Steam. This indie game by Power of Two is a strange Diggles meets Lemmings title in which you're the leader of a colony of dwarves who just can't stop digging. Invariably, their digging is going to get them killed, so the object of the game is to make sure they grab as much gold and treasure as they can before they self-terminate due to blind stupidity. According to the presser: "The same gold that might save your beard when someone, somewhere disturbs a Spider Queen."

The game also features a ton of gameplay modes:

* Arcade Mode with four difficulty levels "ranging from grandma-easy to completely insane"
* Base Defense, a Tower Defense-like game
* Rush Mode Survival "where the Dwarf spawning knows no bounds"
* Dark Mode, a Fog of War mode in which visual range is limited to your tunnels
* Sandbox Mode
* Endless Mode
* Challenge Mode

The game also features leaderboards, Steam achievements and, of course, zombies. Why? All games require zombies these days.
