The episodes will be made available through the PlayStation Store either as one-off payments for episodes or through a yearly subscription.
Qore will feature exclusive PS3 media content such as developer interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, beta signups, previews, demo access etc but only for North America.
Sadly it's "an SCEA only initiative at this time" which means a big no to the rest of the world joining in for the time being.
"Qore has been developed to give PS3 users early access to game related content at a level of quality, interactivity and depth," posted Susan Panico, Senior Director of the PlayStation Network.
"Everything is filmed in HD. Qore will feature exclusive news, developer interviews, in-depth game previews and behind-the-scenes looks at PlayStation games and special access to game demos, special beta invitations, game add-ons and other downloadable game-related content."
The first episode is tomorrow (June 5th) and will feature "SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, Secret Agent Clank, Soul Calibur 4 and Afro Samurai," plus an invite to the SOCOM: Confrontation beta. The show is to be hosted by Veronica Belmont, a fan favourite apparently.
Each episode will cost $2.99 with a full annual subscription at $24.99 for 13 episodes, payable through the PlayStation Network Wallet.
"To get Qore, simply log onto PSN and go to the PLAYSTATION Store, as you would purchase any other form of downloadable content. Once the single Episode or annual subscription is purchased, that month’s episode will be downloaded under the “Game” heading on the Cross Media Bar (XMB)."
