I don't know if it's just me, but Call of Duty just feels so formula-like. I do happen to like the characters of Soap and Price, but I'd like to enjoy my romp through the story as opposed to trudging along through monotonous gameplay.

The shift to England and Europe is a welcome one. I hope for one thing mainly, as the Campaigns so far (for me) have been pretty good: release that's PC-friendly so the darn thing will run, right out of the gate. For all the bashing "BlOps" got, deservedly, it still sold massively well and still does. So I doubt this will seriously harm the sale for "MW 3" (different Dev for one thing).
"MW 2" was a pretty good game, so I am optimistic for this one. If we can have dedicated servers instead of match-making thru IW Net, so much the better.

Hope the new IW makes good game out of this and Respawn gets legal victory...

I might...euh "aquire" it for the campaign. I must say I hope I'll be able to shoot some gendarmes with a minigun. I fear many French youths might buy the game for that reason :P

And if I really have nothing else to do with my money and if they have mod tools at release I might buy it for mp.

Having a Euro based campaign could be interesting - but hopefully they will take a deep look intot he rear-view mirror and figure out why MW was so well liked and so much played and make the sequel not so console-centric.
The story of a 3rd world war is interesting and according to what happened last in MW2 - logical.
This can be like MW2 a late buy when the prices has dropped ----- a lot.

Wolfy you might be waiting a while for the price drop. I can never wait as it as been a long standing birthday present for my son. So I have to budget for this every year.

Well, we are quite lucky here in Sweden since our retailers are battling out and selling the games much cheaper then any online distribution channel right now. Makes STEAM annoying unless it is a specific game - STEAM sales or an incredible offer.
One thing that so far has been good about the MW games is that the campaigns - if short - at least offer a lot of action and are good - while they last...
