Looks like The Witcher 2 will not be a PC exclusive, as the ESRB has revealed an entry for an Xbox 360 version as well.

This follows an interview with Eurogamer, senior producer Tomasz Gop hinted at a console version when he stated that CD Projekt RED would be unveiling a new Witcher game at E3, saying, "I can't say anything obviously for gazillions of reasons but it is a Witcher game, and I can say that console gamers might be interested in it."

We'll be at E3 to check out whatever it is CD Projekt RED will be showing off.

As a PC gamer, I say why not. More money in the coffers for CD ProjektRED if it's done well.

At least Joe will be able to play it now, right?

I really can't believe that it will be as good as the PC-version.

A console doesn't need to be. The graphic requirements for a television aren't as steep as a monitor.

THing is that this game already seems to be well ahead for the Console. They developed the game for PC with controllers in mind - so that one is already checked, and with all the rumours and some of the decisions in design - this was a no-brainer IMO.

But gameplay-wise? The Witcher is a very complex RPG.

As mentioned above - you can plug in your Xbox controller to your PC and play it - the controls are already there Thibby...

The more that play the game, the more the financial resources the Devs have to work with improving on the game an developing the next installment. All aboard - *whistle blow*.

Yeah, it is also a directx9 title so no problem there. There have been rumours for years about a console release for the witcher 2- and more money to these guys is a good thing! Problem is that the releases so far have been buggy - so we will likely see PC coming first and consoles second since patching PC games is easier still then Xbox/PS3 counter parts..

I only hope that the game won't be a bad port, I 'd like to play it on my console but only if it's still a good game.

Rumours has it it won't have one main platform this time but being on call for all three - and that's it - so hopefully this means that each platform will get something good.

I don't believe they are working on a port, but a console version of the game. I may be wrong, and often am but that's what I've heard.

We'll see, but I really hope it's not a port :s

Most likely it won't be a port - but most of the things they need to adapt is already on place for them. Controls, correct directX - but as is evident with the PC version - they need to make a rather extensive bug-hunt!
