The Old Republic shows off the Trooper

In the latest Progression trailer for Star Wars: The Old Republic, the Republic Trooper shows that you don’t need Force powers to be badass, as completely bitchslaps the Sith Inquisitor from the previous Progression video!

Very nice. Be even better as a SP/MP game on it's own, as I don't know about the longevity for playing a Republic Commando/Vanguard would be over the long haul.

I don't know about you guys - but to me that sequence just looked lame. I can't say that this game has any appeal to me - even though I really like Star Wars and really liked what BioWare had done with KOTOR before. This.. nah...

Well the AI didn't really put up much of a fight, which is fine for showcasing the character but not for how well it will really play. The Sith bird just stood there and took it.

Ive played force unleashed 1 and 2, but i didnt like it much. hope this one is better.

Not sure on the exact release date but it is going on beta now or soon.
