GameStop honoring Duke Nukem Forever preorders

A decade ago, GameStop accepted preorders for Duke Nukem Forever, then a PC-only game. The retailer has announced that it would be honoring those pre-orders (provided the gamer still has the original receipt, no easy feat.)

According to a rep from the retailer: "With a long-anticipated release like Duke Nukem Forever, we encourage customers who pre-ordered more than a year ago to verify their reservation with their local store prior to launch. Provided the customer has a receipt, we will honor even those pre-orders taken long ago. At this time, we expect that all pre-order customers will receive Duke's Big Package at time of purchase, regardless of when the reservation was made."

Did you preorder Duke Nukem Forever, and do you still have the receipt?

If people put down $10 for their preorder like in that receipt, Gamestop BETTER honor it.
