Dungeon's & Dragons' Neverwinter is being created by MMO devs Cryptic Studios and a teaser has been released for E3, which includes in-game footage.

Five classic D&D classes are available to play in Neverwinter and you can team-up with others or NPCs to build 5-man groups. User content is supported.

Neverwinter releases exclusively on PC later this year. From the teaser below is sure looks to be a visually impressive title nevertheless. A tool called the Forge lets users generate their own content for the MMO like new quests and entirely fan-based story arcs.

Last D&D I played was Icewind Dale, so its been a while.

"Icewind Dale", "Neverwinter Nights"...yep, that's where it ended for me too. This must be an oldish trailer as Cryptic has been sold by Atari, but looks good. Not enough to draw me into a monthly subscription fee, but Cryptic is definetly an excellent Dev where MMO's are concerned (great visuals, gameplay and solid support).

Well, I'm always up for some D&D love - but I'm not overly intrigued about this new online co-op thing. If you can't solo - and if you can't own a "game" but a service - then I'm out quicker then a starved wolf that heard about free rabbit-stew!
