ArmA developer Bohemia Interactive are working on an all-new Carrier Command instalment, subtitled 'Gaea Mission', and it's all futuristic and cool looking.

Jets, bombers and land forces are at the disposal of this fully controllable carrier as we wrestle control of an archipelago of islands. First-person elements?

Carrier Command is first and formost a real-time strategy game as we command a carrier that's chock full of weapons and units. However the trailer from E3 for Gaea Mission does show some first-person perspective which means we could take direct control?

Perhaps we just get to see what our brave boys and girls in their fancy sci-fi armour is seeing? Whatever the case it's been far too longer since Carrier Command graced the strategy market. We need Bohemia to hurry up and spill more details.

I was under the impression that the original had first-person elements where you took direct control of the units on the carrier.

I never did play it though, so I could be wrong.

I believe the original had first person elements as well, but after so many games I could be just as wrong.
On the fence with this one, as the in-game footage wasn't startling, so I'll want to hear more on the actual gameplay.
