SEGA has confirmed that February 2012 plays host to Yakuza series director Toshihiro Nagoshi's sci-fi shooter Binary Domain, as we fight robots.

Not just any old robots but pesky ones that have risen up, disguised themselves us humans, and want to conquer mankind. Online play is the focus.

Binary Domain is being developed by the maker of the Yakuza series. In the future a company called AMADA creates highly cognisant AI robots that secretly amass their forces and then strike at humanity. Naturally we fight back and it's 'either them or us'.

Binary Domain releases on Xbox 360 and PS3 in February 2012.
