CCP has switched on the Incarna update for EVE Online which lets users create much more detailed player avatars as well as add a Captain's Quarters.

It provides the "first steps outside of the spaceships" for EVE, as well as a "quiet sanctuary for a pilot" on each station. Tutorials get a major overhaul.

Aptly named Incarna 1.0, the new features will be getting updated as time goes on expanding most likely where player avatars can visit outside their spaceships.

"Incarna also brings a fresh beginning for a new player's experience, as we've remade it into a "New New Player Experience" and worked hard to smooth out the learning curve," read the CCP press release for the just released Incarna update.

"It is now easier than ever to try EVE Online--an even more immersive experience is in store for those curious about jumping in the deepest MMO on the market." For a full breakdown on the latest changes visit the official Incarna webpage for more.

I tried EVE a while back but there is just so much to it. It does look like a great MMO but i dont know if they should start getting out their ships and into a whole world of other MMO's

I've played on and off as well.

I've heard the secret to becoming hooked is to find a corp that trains newbies in PVP straight away. Apparently that's the most fun.

PVP is great, the 500-1000 player battles are AWESOME!! :D
