The rumor that a DirectX 11 patch will be coming to Crysis 2 may finally be coming to fruition, as a DX11 Download Package page on the MyCrysis site has been uncovered.

This patch would supposedly allow Crysis to not only support DirectX 11 update, but will offer two downloads:

* A DX11 Tessellation Pack with pre-tessellated geometries which are "necessary in order to be able to enjoy hardware tessellation on DirectX 11 graphics cards,"
* A Hi Res Textures pack that will support both the DirectX 9 and DirectX 11 editions of the game for users with 64-bit OSes and 1 GB graphics cards.

Let us know if you're still eagerly awaiting a DX11 upgrade in Crysis 2.
