With the recent staff reductions going on many have speculated that LucasArts would be ditching internal development for outsourcing future games.

Not so according to representative Margaret Grohne who says they're"committed to our internal studio." The Force Unleashed, Fracture and Indiana Jones still on.

"We're working on the next Indiana Jones game internally," Grohne told Shacknews, but when pushed on future projects she replied, "I'm not going to comment on projects we have not announced."

Partnerships with external developers will still be taking place, "We've always had a good balance between the internal studio and working with external partners. Expect that to continue."

According to ex-staff a Knights of the Old Republic 3 title is in the works, which they've claimed is a MMO property being handled by BioWare - it has been confirmed in the past that both LucasArts and the acclaimed developer studio are working on something together.

And a good thing too. Haven't enjoyed anything from Lucasarts's since "The Dig".
