Free-to-play action adventure Spiral Knights from developer Three Rings has reached one million registered accounts, announces SEGA. Free dungeon!

To celebrate the milestone a new batch of content has been rolled out for free with the Ironclaw Munitions Factory. New weapons have been added too.

"During development, we hoped Spiral Knights’ classic action, handcrafted art, and co-operative nature would appeal to gamers of all stripes, and reaching this milestone is confirmation of our vision for the game,” said Three Rings CEO Daniel James.

"Seeing a million eager knights forging ahead into the Clockworks, building guilds and our game community, is gratifying for our entire team. As seen in recent content updates like the Ironclaw Munitions Factory and the Gloaming Wildwoods, we are more determined than ever to continue expanding and adding to the Clockworks for our fans.”

The new dungeon, Ironclaw Munitions Factory, is based in the Clockworks where a "weapon of incredible power" is being developed, known as Project Roarmulus. The team have also added the Polaris and Supernova weapons to Spiral Knights' arsenal.
