While there is no official confirmation of Dead Space 3, EA has begun taking on new senior development staff for a project within the space horror IP.
They call it a "major opportunity" for someone to "greatly contribute" to their stellar survival horror smash hit. Nothing was at E3, what about Gamescom?
"Visceral Games is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Development Director for the Dead Space franchise. This is a major opportunity to greatly contribute to an exciting unique franchise," read one of the for EA's Visceral Games.
Dead Space 2 launched early this year in January to high praise from critics and fans of the series as it moved into larger environments with bigger, scarier things to creep us out, and multiplayer. EA has a winning IP on their hands so a sequel is no surprise.
Visceral have developed Dead Space 1 and 2, Dante's Inferno, Army of Two, Army of Two: 40th Day, two Lord of the Rings games and 007: Everything or Nothing.
