It was only a matter of time before another comic book hero elicited the gaze of Hollywood executives, now that dino-slaying and bow slinging Turok guy is up next.
Native American star Adam Beach has revealed meetings are about to take place "to develop a script and put it out there,". The 1997 videogame of Turok released on Nintendo 64 brought huge popularity to a comic character around as early as 1954. It was vastly successful and helped shaped the future of the first-person shooter genre. "We just finished the animated movie and now we’re going into the feature film movie hopefully in a couple years. We’re about to set up meetings to develop a script and put it out there," said Bleach exclusively to MTV Movies. "I’ll have to beef up, and be a good guy, and save the world!" Let's hope the action film fairs much better than the recently released game which fell short of fans expectations and the hype. Source: Eurogamer | |
