Robert Bowling will buy Battlefield 3

Infinity Ward creative strategist Robert Bowling stated in an interview that not only is he unconcerned about Electronic Art's constant obsession and veiled put-downs of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, but he'll be picking up a copy of Battlefield 3 because players can enjoy both games when they're released later this year.

"I'm very aware that we have two very different audiences and we're delivering two very good and very different experiences, so I think the baiting is built up more of these two really passionate communities – and they should be really passionate about their individual games – getting at each other, and that's been happening forever," Bowling told Eurogamer.

When asked if he would be picking up Battlefield 3 for himself, he said without reservation, "I am", then stated there was plenty of room for both games. "I think that would be a misconception," Bowling explained. "I think there is definitely room. If you are a shooter fan, you should be getting both, because they're both going to be excellent experiences.

"But more importantly they're going to be very different experiences. The kind of gameplay you get from Call of Duty is very different from what you get anywhere else and I think that's important. I think any shooter fan would be extremely disappointed if you only got one."

Let us know if you'll be buying both games, or just sticking with one or the other.

Crazy for a Creative Strategist(?) not to play the competition's product.
Who knows, the CS's from EA and IW might meet, argue, slap each other, then have an affair....and a 'baby' is born.
"CoD: Battlefield 4" anyone?

People think you need a fast reaction time for MW, but you don't... I see so many gameplays videos, and when I used to play I saw so many people with .5 second reaction delays... Just watch some gameplay... BF3 #FTW

Those reaction delays are only when you're making a mistake, and your opponent makes an even bigger one :P CoD is very twitch-based, simply because you die very easily, one click and you're done.

One click? What COD have you been playing? Even on hard core mode it still takes a second to kill... Unless its a headshot...

What does reaction time have to do with making a mistake? I don't think about shooting when I see the enemy while trying to aim at him/her, I just do it... So how exactly can you make a mistake involving reaction time? Reaction time = time for you to recognize and act on a trigger. The trigger in this case would be seeing an enemy...

/sarcasm on
Maybe thats why I had such high K/D on MW... Because people where thinking about shooting rather than doing... LMAO

By mistake, I meant not reacting to the enemy. And I haven't played in quite some time, but from what I remember, clicking a shotgun or semiautomatic still meant a KIA enemy.(My COD was 4 :P)
