Cancelled "next-gen Star Wars title" was cause of Red Fly cuts?

Former environment artist Patrick Doran of Nintendo Wii developer Red Fly Studio mentions a "next-gen Star Wars title" was in the works but it ended.

Earlier this month the studio made redundant 30 staff, which CEO Dan Borth said was due to a "large high-profile project" getting canned, to their surprise.

Artist Patrick Doran ended his time with Red Fly in June which is when the project was likely cut by LucasArts. Red Fly boss Dan Borth said the staff cuts were "a response to a large high-profile project that was, to our surprise, reevaluated and then canceled".

Red Fly have developed Mushroom Men: The Spore Wars as well as the Wii version of Star Wars: Force Unleashed 2. What was this "next-gen Star Wars title" in the works? Did LucasArts decide to keep the Force Unleashed going after all?

Superannuation sniffed out the link.

I'm still waiting for that x-wing vs. tie fighter remake that everyone wants but that they will probably never announce!
