Gamers in Europe anxious to play the mindbending, sexy adventure/puzzle game Catherine are out of luck as Atlus USA's PR and sales manager Aram Jabbari stated that there are "no plans at this time" for a European release of the game.


Atlus has no European infrastructure, so they rely on publisher partners to release games in the region. Persona 4 had Square-Enix distributing the game in Europe, while 3D Dot Game Heroes had SouthPeak as a distributor.

It's surprising that the heavily anticipated game hasn't snagged a distributor yet, but Catherine will probably get one after it's demoed at the major videogame conference, Gamescom, which is in August.

Catherine will be released in North America on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on July 26.
