Steam preorder of From Dust grants free TF2 item

Players who pre-order From Dust on Steam will get a special bonus in Team Fortress 2.


When pre-ordering the downloadable title via Steam, users will earn a free "Mask of the Shaman" item for use in Team Fortress 2, as seen in the image above.

From Dust was just released on Xbox Live Arcade, and will be hitting PC on August 17 for $14.99 USD.

TF2. It has become a tradition for Valve to offer hats in TF2. They also did that for Sam & Max, for instance

I know the hats are useless, but some of them are pretty cool!

And a lot of them are considered status symbols among the vet players.

I imagine that the playing value can only go so far...it will be interesting to see how many times will I save the humans from nature until, the game turns into cook em or drown them all? Heck, even God brought on the Great Flood...and the Biggest Earthquake in recorded history? well, that is coming soon near you.
