Eyebrows are tweaked as it appears Burnout and Need for Speed developer Criterion is seeking new bodies to pad their studio roster for a new racing title.
The engineering position means "developing on new platforms" while the AI coder will be required to whip up "believable, open world AI Racing Drivers".
Criterion wants an 'AI Programmer' and a 'Lead Software Engineer' for their Guildford, UK-based studio. "Our current ambition requires an innovative programmer to deliver killer entertainment experiences with believable, open world AI Racing Drivers," .
What has Criterion got cooking? Maybe their bringing back the Burnout franchise? It seems that whatever it is it'll be heading for the next generation of hardware, or will at least grace the PlayStation Vita and Nintendo Wii U platforms.
Burnout Crash is Criterion's latest game heading for XBLA and PSN this fall.
