Sony warehouse fire likely to cause "some impact on deliveries"

Sony's 20,000 square metre Enfield warehouse in the UK has suffered severe damage as it caught on fire, and it's the only content storage site they have.

A rep says there will "likely be some impact" to product deliveries in the UK as a result. The cause of the fire is unknown but riots continue throughout London.

The warehouse contains DVDs, CDs and "other content products" for UK distribution. Riots are running rampage throughout parts of London as mobs burn and loot properties. It's very likely that Sony's Enfield warehouse is just another victim of the anarchy.

“There will likely be some impact on deliveries,” said Sony's Yoko Yasukochi.

The anger in such a case is maybe justified but hurting other innocent bystanders and their property is hardly appropriate.

I dont understand why they are targeting poor family businesses and most recently actually breaking into flats.

Well this is probably covered by insurance, but still. People could get hurt in such a big fire.
