Treasure's most famous scrolling shoot-em-up, Radiant Silvergun, will be hitting Xbox Live Arcade on September 14, for a cool 1200 Microsoft Points ($14.99 USD). This was announced by the developer on the official site - Microsoft has set to confirm.

Radiant Silvergun appeared on the Sega Saturn and became a cult hit, and for a long time, one of the most sought after titles in the console's brief history. The XBLA version marks the first time the game has ever launched outside of Japan.

Some of the updates to the game includes the addition of a new system to enhance the original chain system, as well as the usual HD visual upgrades. For purists, a pure port of the Saturn version will also be included.

Silvergun's sister game Ikaruga has been on XBLA for the past few years.
