He said Perfect World could "share" their F2P experience with Cryptic now they've acquired them, and they were in fact already working on a free-to-play model. "...also Star Trek Online, after the acquisition, in fact Cryptic is working on the free-to-play model for Star Trek Online," said CEO Kelvin Lau. "This is going to be launched by the end of this year as well. So I think free-to-play model we have a bigger potential in US market and also in China market." Perfect World are using Cryptic Studios to expand operations in Europe and North America. Will you give Star Trek Online a shot when it's free-to-play, videogamer?
