Robot boxing game coming from Yuke's

Japanese developer Yuke's is best known for developing Rumble Roses and THQ's yearly WWE wrestling game, but this time, they're going a little bit further off the beaten wrestling path, even more than Rumble Roses.

They're making a robot boxing game called Real Steel, which will be based on an upcoming film of the same name.

Real Steel will be released for Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation 3 in early October, and will cost 1200 Microsoft Points (840 yen).

Check out the movie trailer for this bizarre film. Yes, it's Rock'em Sock'em Robots: The Movie.

The movie I'll watch (can't go wrong with Wolver..I mean Hugh Jackman!), the game I'll pass on though. I prefer to stay as Far away from movie based games as I can.

A. the game is made by the japanese who are know to have a thing or two for robots :)
B. they seem to be doing reasonably well received fighting games

So i'm guessing the game will probably be ok for what it tries to be, i'm just not into fighting games so i won't bother either. Might watch the movie though.

The movie looks pretty good, cant go wrong with fighting robots.

Never been that keen on the PSN little games. I like having boxes with my games in.
