THQ and Relic Entertainment's Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, the third-person action-RPG, is now released on PC in the UK but it's MIA on Steam.

The Steamworks-infused title has vanished from the Steam store with no explanation. The demo for the game up and disappeared weeks back too.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC today in the UK but gamers hoping to get their copy through Steam are out of luck. The Steam store page simply returns an error that "this item is currently unavailable in your region."

Are UK retailers kicking up a fuss with THQ over Steamworks? Let's hope for the sake of British PC gamers that Space Marine gets back on Steam officially soon.

Maybe THQ wants to sell DLC in-game and not through Steam. :p

Odd way of doing business as it only pertains to the UK and not elsewhere. Then again, many odd things happening with games and Steamworks atm.
