Console version of Crysis digital only

A new, fascinating detail was revealed shortly after the announcement of Crysis for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3: it will be a pure digital launch. There will be no boxed retail version on store shelves.

Xbox 360 version.

The game will be priced at 1600 MS points for Xbox Live Arcade and £14.99 on PlayStation Network.

“We are extremely proud of what we were able to accomplish with Crysis. We set out to create a next-generation FPS and delivered a PC experience that became a benchmark for quality – and still is for many gamers even four years later,” said Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli.

“By bringing the single-player campaign to console, we believe we are again setting a new standard for quality in downloadable gaming.”

yep, digital downloads only and i don't think it'll compete with a pc version...hell no !!

Digital only puts me off.
I like to feel like my moneys been well spent e.g. having a games box added to my games shelf.

Not interested in this ... FPS for consoles... nah. And Crysis wasn't that good a game to begin with. Was fun until the aliens showed up...
