Wargamer.net has announced the official site of World of Battleships has gone live, which has confirmed the inclusion of aircraft carriers as one of the available class of ships available to gamers in-game. According to the website, players have three main classes of ships at their disposal: * Aircraft carriers that provide both naval and air support * Battleships and heavy cruisers able to scarify the enemy with their looks alone * Light destroyers with speed and agility as their strongest points Each of the classes have their strengths. The newly confirmed aircraft carriers are capable of covering the allies from air or routing an aircraft cell towards the enemy. Destroyers are fast and nimble, attacking like a pack of wolves to harrass and destroy enemy ships, while the battleships are floating tanks that simply use caliber salvos to wear down enemies through brute force.
