Lollipop Chainsaw brings the chainsaw to Buffy

Grasshopper Manufacture has released the official Lollipop Chainsaw trailer from Tokyo Game Show onto the interwebs.

The game is sort of a Buffy-meets-Bayonetta third person beat'em'up, with zombies that seem to want to lick heroine Juliet instead of bite. Of course, all good sex starts with the licking before the biting.

Regardless, this game, which will be released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in Fall 2012, just looks mental. Check out the trailer in the video below.

Short skirts all around. What is it with this obsession with school girls in Japan?

@Herodotus

Japanese are geeks, they love to study a lot and since school girls remind them of school and studying, it makes them easier to get horny :) At least that's what I think about it :D

It's not the guys who are into the look (unless you're a slobbering old man hunched over internet porn), actually its the girls themselves. Freaky.

I agree with herodotus. I doubt that the problem is the men, but rather the women. The interesting thing about the world, a lot of women dress more explicit just so that they can attract the attention of men.

Though in Japan, I know that there is an obsession with the schoolgirl look... though I am not exactly sure why.

@ Hero - I read an article where Japanese men said that said the sexiest outfit a woman can wear is the girl uniform. There you have it - most of the population gets a rise out of it...

Pardon the pun, naturally Wolfy:)
I'm surprise they admit to it, then again both men and women are attracted to the opposite in uniform - I use to wear one as a nurse in Casualty, so I can personally vouch for it:)

For connoisseurs of the Japanese look:)

That explains a lot! Why have problems with your fantasies about schoolgirls... just go to Japan. Plenty of women dressing like them all around.

Yeah, but then again Japan is a land that on the brink and beyond of disaster there are no lootings, no crime sprees no extra crap - only people who stand up and push beyond their limits to fix things. There are many things I will never get with the Japanese - the fascination of schoolgirl uniforms and tentacles...
But there are many things that simply just amazes me still.

@Hero - Now that is better then the standard windows at least ;)

@FoolWolf: I agree completely with you. The Japanese are on a different level than the rest of the world.

Being a Postman is an honor, and it doesn't matter that you don't get the biggest salary, you are proud of being a Postman, because the rest of the community is nothing without you. The Japanese are a fascinating nation.

I hate to ruin your day, but the game is written by an American director James Gunn. :D

There are anime series that are written by Americans ( Stan Lee for example) but made in Japan and they are still anime trough and trough :). If it's made in Japan it's Japanese :).
