Once more, again, certain fragments of the Diablo community have riled themselves up with what could be described as tenuous deduction of championship proportions.
A new icy splash artwork is now being accused of fostering hidden Diablo II runes. Plus the possibility of a new game called 'Hydra' from more tenuous linkage.
An , one who works for Blizzard on environment and scenery, has an empty section on his personal concept site labelled Hydra. The front page of his site came with an under-construction message that said the site would re-launch on June 28, the day that Blizzards Worldwide Invitational starts in Paris - dun dun dun.
Now the message has changed from June to "July 2008" - something the fans have jumped on.
