Get it while it's hot! EA have just released the very first trailer for Starbreeze Studios' Syndicate first-person shooter reboot for the classic PC series from Bullfrog.

It's full of sexy corporate warfare and literal head trips. The trailer also confirms the February 21st release date for Syndicate on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

Check out the very first gameplay glimpse of Syndicate below. It's from The Darkness and Chronicles of Riddick developer Starbreeze Studios. Does it get you excited?

The trailer does a good job, and yes the music fits in very well :).

How to ruin a brilliant and innovative IP - sell it out to the gaming console market and make it a generic FPS with some themes from the original. Get real, EA. "Fear", "Duke Nukem" and even "Deus Ex: HR" to a large extent....this is gaming stagnation, not evolution. Doesn't require a great amount of creative talent to pinch someone else's ideas and implant them into an on-rails shooter.
No sale here.

I'm just so into MP at the moment. It'll wear off, but then "BF3-beta" is addictive, and will be more so when it's released.
Might pick up "E:HR" in the Chrissie Sales as I've played the first two when they were first released. Cutting edge back then.
