Indie developer EXOR Studios has announced a remake of their cult PC hit, Zombie Driver HD, which will be hitting Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network, and will be published by Japanese studio Cyberfront.

Zombie Driver HD has been expanded in comparison with the original game, with a single player campaign that is twice as long as the original, complete with narrative. The campaign adds epic boss fights, demolition missions, new enemies and special vehicles such as a fire truck, bulldozer and even a tank. The game also improves on the PC game with an improved camera system, a recharging afterburner that allows quick escapes, and a minimap.

Aside from the single player campaign, the game also includes Blood Race, which includes three distinct game types. The Race event is as it sounds: the first zombie driver past the finish line wins. Eliminator has players trying to eliminate as many opponents as possible in a specific time limit. (that is unless he gets ripped to shreds by his opponents). Finally, Endurance straps a bomb to the player's car and they must kill zombies and pass through checkpoints to extend the timer. The entire Blood Race campaign includes 30 different events. A bonus game mode called Slaughter is a basic endless survival horde mode.
