I Am Alive is alive, now digital title

Seems Ubisoft's mysterious I Am Alive title is well and truly alive, despite being pretty-much MIA since it was announced back in 2008.

Ubisoft have now announced that it will coming to Xbox Live Arcade and the Playstation Network this winter, meaning that this has become a digital-only title.

“We know people have been waiting for this game to arrive, and we believe it’s going to be worth the wait,” said Ubisoft’s marketing director Adam Novickas.

Gameplay still seems pretty much the same - you as the main character must survive in a post-apocalyptic world, whilst you try and find you family and get home. Players will be challenged by both their environment and their enemies, with stamina and resource management being key as you are exposed to deadly atmospheres and scaling enormous buildings in search of supplies.

We'll bring you more info as we get it.

Meh whatever. It's probably going to suck anyways.

Why do you say that Revan?

Because I've been reading about it for almost 4 years. Kinda seems to be taking the Duke Nukem Forever road into development hell. :(

I have faith in Ubi though, so who knows, they might just be able to pull it off if they put enough focus on it.
Would be too bad if this game got scrapped. The concept sounds like a pretty neat idea. Not something you see in a lot of games anymore.

I hope that this game works out for you, because I won't be able to play it since it won't be for PC.
