TopWare has announced that the Pirates of the Flying Fortress expansion for RPG Two Worlds II on the PlayStation 3 will be released October 10th.

They add there was "no earlier timeslot available," with the Xbox 360 and PC versions already out now. Swashbuckling new content is added worth 12 hours.

A whole new story centred around pirates and islands is added with this expansion, which includes full voice-overs, new cinematics as well as brand new weapons, items, bad guys and more. It's said to be worth around 12 more hours of gameplay.

Two Worlds II is a successor in every way to the original game, especially in the sales department. It has managed to sell over 2 million copies globally despite sharing the same release schedule as BioWare's RPG Dragon Age 2.
