Rockstar not ruling out PC version of Red Dead Redemption

Rockstar continues to tease and frustrate PC gamers on whether their critical hit Red Dead Redemption will be hitting the platform. Back in June, Rockstar stated they had no current plans "as of now" for a PC version, and today, Rockstar has said they "haven't ruled out" a PC version.

Rockstar told fans in its latest ‘Asked & Answered’ column, the company refused to rule out the PC version, even though the PC version of L.A. Noire will be coming in the next few weeks, stating, “We do know that, yes, there is just one title absent from our PC release plans – that game of course being Red Dead Redemption, and of course we’re well aware that some fans have been asking for it. All we can say is that whenever it is viable (technically, developmentally and business-wise) for us to release a game for PC (or any other particular platform) – we will and we usually do; unfortunately, that is just not the case 100% of the time for all platforms."

It doesn't sound encouraging, but Rockstar has supported the PC platform in the past, even though it usually came months or even a year after release.

The Red Dead Redemption Game of the Year Edition will be coming out next week on October 11.

"...(or any other particular platform)"...
Another indication the at the XB720 is on it's way? I think so.
Hopefully the hint at a PC version becomes reality.

Let's hope it happens :).
Just don't wait too long, the game is getting older by the month.

Well, it looks like it was a blatant deception from Rockstar as it appears they have never, and will never consider a PC port.
