Bethesda and id Software's apoco-shooter Rage has been kept away from the UK all format chart crown by EA Sports' FIFA 12, which stays numero uno.

Meanwhile last week's other new entries, Dark Souls and NBA 2K12, came 3rd and 12th respectively. Gears of War 3 came 4th, and racer F1 2011 5th.

Zumba Fitness refuses to leave the top 10 and sinks no lower than 6th. Dead Island and Deus Ex: Human Revolution shuffled down to 7th and 8th place. LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean kept hold of its 9th slot, with Resistance 3 performing a little better 10th.

Below is the UK all format chart top 20 for the week ending October 8th.

How is Rage? Anyone here play it yet?

Not just yet, have some work to go with other games, as well as get a new system, so I won't be playing Rage for a awhile.

To think a niche game like "Dark Souls" ("Demon Souls", really is a niche game and this sequel is only slightly different) can be third. Well "Fifa 12" will be on top for a while, but the rest will drop away.
One exception: "Zumba Fitness" - still amazes me anyone buys into this rubbish continuously - weight loss scams, questionable exercise programs. Just get out and go for a's FREE!

Lol, good point herodotus. If you walk everyday, and not just around the block, you are sure to lose weight, and become walking fit.

I love walking.
