Gaming magazine PSM3 last April claimed that Sony Santa Monica would be releasing a new God of War game in 2012. That rumor gained some credibility as another God of War job listing has appeared from the developer.


The classified states that Sony Santa Monica is looking for a Senior Staff Concept Artist for a project called "God of War", with the following text, “Join the GOW team! The Santa Monica Studio is an open and creative environment, where we strive to make the best games in the industry. Join us as we embark on our next project.”

This follows another classified from earlier in the year looking for a Senior Online Programmer for the God of War team, as well as a Senior Level Designer. Could this mean a new online component to the series, such as a co-op mode?

God of War III was released for the PlayStation 3 last year in March.
