THQ and Relic Entertainment have announced a second DLC for Warhammer 40k: Space Marine, and it adds to Exterminatus co-op with a new mode called Chaos Unleashed.

It lets fans play as a Chaos Space Marine fighting off Orks and Imperial Guard Forces. Also included are three new multiplayer maps, new boss rounds, and a new enemy unit.

Habs Ablaze, Station Tertius and Aquila Canyon are the new maps with 10 new achievements and trophies added for Xbox 360 and PS3. It's priced at 800 MSP and £7.99.

"Space Marine offers a robust multiplayer experience out of the box but the addition of new maps, modes and challenges should keep the community playing for months to come," said THQ's Jim Huntley. They will also be launching a number of unique player skins for all platforms for Salamanders, Alpha Legion, Legion of the Damned and Blood Angel.

They'll be priced at 240 Microsoft Points / £2.39 each. These and the new premium DLC add-on will be releasing for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC this December. Have you been playing Space Marine online, videogamer?

Yet one more reason to wait until getting this at the best sale price. I'm not into Co-op at all, so the SP is all I want (and a bit of MP thrown in). Whatever happened to true EP's?

I am still wondering whether I want to get this game or not. My hands are still full with Starcraft II, Dead Island and F.E.A.R. 3. Rage is still waiting for me.

At the moment I think that this game will only be a waste if I were to purchase it now.

Price will drop quiickly, as with all THQ titles, particularly on Steam (which is not viable for me due to the price gougng Steam is presently allowing to go on).
