Those thoroughly Angry Birds will be hitting retail for PC DVD-ROM on the 25th November, Rovio has announced. The distributor for Rovio's game, which had already enjoyed over 500M downloads on mobile devices, will be Focus Multimedia. The game will cost $9.99 USD/£10.20.

According to a Rovio representative, “Boxed retail is another way to reach more audience. Digital and mobile are still at the core of our business, but boxed retail is a good addition for taking the brand forward." Focus Multimedia's managing director Craig Johnson added, “Angry Birds is everywhere, successfully penetrating ever deeper into the mainstream on a daily basis. We’re thrilled to be Rovio’s distributor."

Angry Birds will also be enjoying DLC, with Angry Birds Rio, which is a tie-in to the animated film Rio, coming during the Holidays, and Angry Birds Seasons arriving in 2012.
