Skyrim 1.2 patch coming in two weeks

Bethesda has announced that the second patch for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will be coming after Thanksgiving, which falls on the 24th November.


Bethesda's Nick Breckon discussed the 1.2 patch on the official forums, stating, "Wanted to let everyone know that the next PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 updates have been submitted for certification, and that the PC patch is coming too. The current estimate is that they will be live the week after Thanksgiving."

The 1.2 patch will reportedly fix many of the glitches that have plagued the game, such as texture issues and quest bugs, such as a boulder blocking a quest cavern, and so on.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was released on the 11th November, and had a launch day 1.1 patch.

There's one missing set of voice files that can stop you from continuing the main story! I had to download them from the nexus.

I've already finished the main story line. I'm up to my third character now! Although to be fair, the sneaky Argonian wizard got corrupted at level 25 :(
My Orcish warrior just finished yesterday. So now it's time for something like a warrior-mage. Maybe a Dunmer? Or an Altmer?

im not disapointed about this game infact i love it and idc what others say if you really like skyrim dont judge it play it with no voice, no level up, i would still love it

My now brother-in-law was a diehard D&D boardgame guy (in the early '90's) and it was almost like a Brotherhood, replete with passwords and handshakes. Always thought he was a bit weird...until they came to PC's.

I've played a bit of D&D myself, but never got TOO in depth with it. I much preferred the different iterations on the PC rather than trying to coordinate with a group of friends (because no one's schedule's really worked out too well anyways :P)

I've already burned out! PLayed three seperate characters up to level 30. Now I'm reading "A Game of Thrones", playing "Crusader Kings" and watching 'A bit of Fry and Laurie'.

And if anyone sees what I did there as a reference to one of those things, you're totally awesome. And have a good eye.

I usually stop playing Skyrim when I get a CTD. It's good that it CTD's often cause I am able to unglue from it then. Hurray for CTD's!

I found that changing the audio quality as in the STEAM tip thread, and the new patch made my game CTD a lot less. Also - after one or two CTD's the game usually ran pretty decent...
