Minecraft developer Mojang's Scrolls may be going massively multiplatform, reports TVGB.
Since the game runs on the Unity 3 engine, it will allow programmers to, according to the Unity 3 , "target all platforms with a single tool." Mojang would be able to release the game not only on PC, but also on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii, as well as mobile platforms like iOS and Android, and even be Flash-based as well.
A Mojang representative stated that a multiplatform release was what the developer was aiming for, but did not confirm any specific platforms.
Scrolls is also intended to be an online multiplayer game, but when the game has been demoed, an AI opponent was selected to face off against the gamer, instead of another human player.
Scrolls is due to be released sometime next year, and is the subject of an acrimonious suit by ZeniMax, which states that the title "Scrolls" is causing market confusion with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
