"Quest for the Lost Eternia Shards: Part 1" DLC now available for Dungeon Defenders

Trendy Entertainment, has announced that the first of a four part downloadable content series, "Quest for the Lost Eternia Shards", is now available for Dungeon Defenders on Steam, Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network. The new DLC pack, "Part 1: Mistymire Forest", includes new campaign map, a new PvP map, and a new challenge mission with new story cinematics, enemies, 10 all new weapons, a new pet, and a new boss.

The first part of the Quest for the Lost Eternia Shards storyline will take players to the Mistymire Forest. Subsequent chapters will take place in the desert city of Morrago, the underwater depths of Aquanos, and the heights of Sky City.

The DLC costs 320 Microsoft Points ($3.99 USD). As a bonus, Steam users can pre-purchase the entire four part "Quest" series for a limited time for $9.75 USD. The Complete Pack will unlock a special Nightmare Mode for gamers who want a challenge. Normally, players would have to finish all four DLC packs to gain access to the uber-difficulty level.

Trendy released a trailer for the entire Quest for the Lost Eternia Shards DLC series, showing off each of the four areas the Quest will take them to - check it out in the video below.

Cute, but not good enough for me. Defense Grid and Orcs must Die are the best tower defense games so far.
