Free-to-play shooter Repulse now in beta

Aeria Games has announced that is free-to-play, class-based first person shooter Repulse has gone into beta. The developer promises that a number of beta events will be run, including Facebook giveaways and ranked contests.

According to the announcement on the game blog, the game will have nine game modes, including Capture the Flag, Death Match and Alien Invasion, among others. Players can assume the roles of such class roles as Sniper, Engineer and Assault.

Players interested in joining the beta can download the game client from the official site.

I don't see another F2P shooter being all that popular except amongst competitive FPS players....guys I generally don't like being around. "Battlefield Play 4 Free" is loaded with these run'n'gun speed merchants.
