In what seems to be a yearly occurrence, a new rumor has sprung up claiming Microsoft will be ditching its online Points system.  Inside Mobile Apps claims that "well-placed" inside sources have told them Microsoft will phase out Microsoft Points throughout 2012, which will not only affect Xbox Live, but Zune and Windows 7 Phone marketplaces.
