Arma 3 delays to "Q4 2012"

PC exclusive Arma 3 has been quietly delayed by developer Bohemia Interactive as no reason was given why the military simulator has slipped from summer to the autumn/winter months.

Arma 3 is an "open-ended & story-driven" instalment and it takes advantage of PhysX "supporting vehicle simulation," and a revamped animation system. Set on a Mediterranean island.

Check out the official Arma 3 website for more information.

I'll be interested to see how this turns out. Being a fan ever since Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis here's hoping that they can create that same sense of fun and uber realism for Arma 3.

I do hope they optimise this one a lot more than the system hog that is "ArmA II". So far each new release, and ineed some EP's such as "Operation Arrowhead" have meant a trip to the local tech store for an upgrade. I'd say this will be no differnt with many a high end rig groaning under the weight of the new game.
