Epic Games' Mark Rein revealed at the DICE Conference that Unreal Engine 4 will finally be revealed in 2012.


According to Rein, "People are going to be shocked later this year when they see Unreal Engine 4 and how much more profound an effect it will have."

Last year at GDC, Epic revealed the Samaritan demo to show off how much the Unreal Engine had evolved, as seen in the screenshot above. It'll be interesting to see what the next generation of the engine will be like.
