The fellows over at NeoGAF have spotted an interesting job listing on the official Japanese Konami site. According to the listing, Konami, or rather, "BIGBOSS", is looking for developers for the next "MGS".

The listing urges "skillful engineers, artists, and game creators" to visit Konami's booth at the Game Developers Conference this March. The publisher is looking for "project engineers for the latest Metal Gear Solid targeted for high-end consoles and PC", "engineers to help develop next-gen game engine technology for use with the FOX Engine," and a "Kojima Productions brand manager".

The FOX Engine was shown off by studio founder Hideo Kojima at E3 2011 last June.

Last November, Kojima created a stir by saying Metal Gear Solid 5 was coming. Kojima backtracked and stated that he meant there would be a Metal Gear Solid 5 at some point in the future.

Platinum Games is currently developing Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, which was renamed from Metal Gear Solid: Rising to differentiate it from the main MGS series.
