GAME CEO says firm will "pull through" tough times

Ian Shepherd, CEO of retailer The Game Group, has been talking on Twitter about the recent problems plaguing GAME and GameStation, and seems hopeful that the firm will be able to “pull through” its tough times.

Yesterday it was revealed that GAME would not be able to stock EA's Mass Effect 3, along with any EA title following the release of SSX.

"Well, a tough day for colleagues and customers, after an excellent Vita launch performance last week - certainly ups and downs at the moment," said Shepherd on Twitter.

"A lot of feedback, both anger and support - understandable. No-one wins from this, but I'm sure that as an industry we will pull through."

We'll keep you updated with further news as the GAME situation develops.

I dunno. I see a death spiral when I see one.
