Sony has revealed its first person adventure game, Datura, which is being co-developed by God of War developer Sony Santa Monica and new studio Plastic Studios.

The game begins in a lust forest and players explore their surrounding with their hand, which is controlled by the PlayStation Move controller.

Plastic Studio’s Michal Staniszewski claims that the game will allow players to actually experience its world "empirically", saying that gamers “not only visually (experience the game) but also empirically: an illusion that you really touch trees, faces and other objects.”

Some of the puzzles will feature moral choices. “However, through these puzzles it is the element of anxiety that Datura explores: was it a right or a wrong choice?” Staniszewski posited. The consequences of the player's choice are immediately felt.

"If you're a fan of something 'different' and liked games such as Flower and Journey then I think you'll like this one too. We don't want to give away too much about the gameplay as it really is the type of game that you need to experience for yourself,” he concluded.

Datura will be hitting PlayStation Network later this year.
