Capcom has revealed that Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City will not be stocked in GAME or GameStation when it launches in the UK on 23rd March for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

"Capcom wants to reassure its consumers that this title will be available at a wide variety of retailers across the UK and Ireland. For those consumers who have already placed a deposit to pre-order of Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City then a full refund will be available please contact your local GAME or gamestation shop or visit the online stores." said a spokesperson for Capcom.

Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City will be available from outlets such as Blockbusters, HMV, Play.com, Amazon.co.uk, Shopto.net, The Hut and supermarket chains.

Meanwhile, TECMO KOEI regretted to announce that Ninja Gaiden 3 and Warriors Orochi 3 will not be stocked when both titles are released in the UK later this month. You will be able to purchase them from the retailers mentioned above.

It shouldn't be long before we learn the fate of GAME and GameStation, but as the week progresses it isn't looking good.

We'll keep you updated as the situation develops.
